JJ Villard has been a key staple collaborator in the Deathwish art direction over the past five years, and we jumped on the opportunity to once again break bread with a limited capsule celebrating Villard’s latest mainstream victory.

Originally released in 2014, JJ Villard’s King Star King earned Adult Swim its first ever Emmy with Villard steering the ship as writer, director and lead animator.  Nearly a decade later, King Star King returns following its main character King Star King on a series of surreal, sexualized, and repugnant adventures throughout the Gigantiverse, punctuated by hypnotic animation, off-model squashing and stretching, and bountiful amounts of drug use.
